• Responsible for the architecture of an entire program, which is comprised of multiple projects. • Led and mentored teams of architects • Conducted peer-reviews on other architect’s designs • Participated in building strategic road maps • Projects included: • A brand-new agency facing front-end for HIG’s Captive and Specialty Program group. • Project budget of about $15 million • Project involved a new front-end built in an off-the-shelf vendor product (AgencyPortal), including integration with account management system, policy administration system, U/W workflow, and several smaller services • Involved with vendor selection for the front-end, setting initial scope with business partners, documenting high-level architecture, guiding project Architects through documenting lower-level architecture, presenting and socializing the architecture • A rewrite of HIG’s small commercial agency facing front-end (ICON) • Project budget of about $120 million. The first phase (WC line of business), came in at over $35 million • Project was a huge rewrite of a third generation front-end. Involved an off-the-shelf vendor product (AgencyPortal and included over 60 services with the first line of business • Involved with vendor selection for the front-end, setting initial scope with business partners, documenting high-level architecture, guiding project Architects through documenting lower-level architecture, presenting and socializing the architecture • Responsible for architecture on many smaller projects. This included: • Partnering with the business to develop and manage scope • Developing high and low-level architectures deliverables, presenting them to an architectural steering committee, and socializing the designs to many different subject areas • Mentoring tech leads and leading developers
